Founder - Lead Mentor & Fishing Guide

  • This broad experience has equipped Dale with a strong understanding of how to navigate complex systems, coordinate multiple services within a case plan, and support people to achieve practical, meaningful outcomes aligned with their NDIS goals. He specialises in tailoring supports that match the individual, ensuring the right mix of workers, structure, and opportunities are in place to build independence, confidence, and momentum.

    As a proud Gold Coast local, Dale has a deep connection to the community and a lifelong passion for the outdoors. Reel Supports was created from the belief that real-world experiences, particularly fishing and nature-based activities can be powerful tools for wellbeing, skill development, and personal growth. Dale uses fishing not just as an activity, but as a mentoring platform to build regulation, patience, problem-solving, and genuine connection.

    As a lead mentor and fishing guide, Dale is known for his grounded, relationship-first approach. He values consistency, mateship, and meeting people where they are, while supporting them to move forward at their own pace.

    Through Reel Supports, Dale is committed to delivering outcome-focused, person-centred support that feels real, engaging, and genuinely supportive making a reel difference in people’s lives.

Caleb M

Support Worker
  • Currently in his third year of paramedic studies, Caleb brings a developing health background that strengthens his understanding of safety, wellbeing, and responsive, person-centred care.

    Outside of work and study, Caleb leads an active lifestyle. He enjoys going to the gym, playing and watching basketball, and training in calisthenics. He also has a strong creative side, with a passion for producing hip-hop beats and instrumentals, and an interest in sampling and sound design. In his downtime, Caleb enjoys chess, anime, horror films.

    As part of the Reel Supports team, Caleb brings positivity, patience, and encouragement to every interaction. His blend of health knowledge, active interests, and creativity allows him to build genuine connections while supporting participants to work toward meaningful goals.

    Fishing & Activity Focus:
    While Caleb isn’t one of our fishing-specific mentors, he is a versatile all-rounder on the ground—reliable, adaptable, and a strong support across a wide range of activities. A true asset to the team.

    Availability: Caleb currently only has availability left for evening and weekend shifts.

Courtney P

Support worker & Mentor

  • Courtney is a highly experienced support worker with a strong background in case management and navigating the NDIS system. With over 4 years’ experience in the NDIS disability sector, Courtney is particularly skilled in supporting participants to work towards meaningful housing stability, business goals, and practical life outcomes.

    He holds a CHC33021 – Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability stream) and brings a calm, solutions-focused approach to support. Courtney is known for his ability to cut through complexity, advocate effectively, and help people move forward with clarity and confidence.

    Before working in disability, Courtney ran multiple businesses and has travelled extensively, giving him a broad life perspective and a strong understanding of independence, resilience, and adaptability. This experience translates into practical, real-world mentoring that participants genuinely connect with.

    Courtney shares a passion for fishing, surfing, snowboarding, outdoor activities and enjoys using these interests as a way to engage, motivate, and inspire people to get the most out of life regardless of ability level. He believes strongly in meeting people where they are and supporting them to build confidence, purpose, and momentum at their own pace. Courtney is also a skilled painter and sculpture.

    Above all, Courtney brings a warmth, care, and authenticity to his work that is felt by participants, families, and colleagues alike.

    Fishing & Activity Focus: Courtney brings solid experience in mid-range fishing and enjoys using time on the water as a mentoring tool. His calm, patient style helps participants build confidence, learn practical skills, and enjoy fishing in a safe, supportive environment.

    Availability: Courtney Currently has availability left 8 hours per week mid to end of week.
